FS2Crew Roadmap 2026–2027: New Aircraft, Advanced AI Features, and More
The next chapter of FS2Crew is shaping up to be our biggest yet.
With FS2Crew Generation AI continuing to evolve, we’re expanding beyond our current aircraft lineup and bringing our virtual flight crew technology to even more of the aircraft that sim pilots love to fly.
Our roadmap includes several major aircraft releases — and we’re not finished revealing everything yet.
✈️ The FS2Crew Roadmap
Here are some of the aircraft currently planned for upcoming FS2Crew products:
iniBuilds Airbus A350
The iniBuilds A350 is also on the roadmap.
This widebody Airbus is an exciting addition to the FS2Crew family and will allow us to bring our virtual First Officer and crew workflow to another generation of Airbus aircraft.
PMDG 737 — SOP 1, SOP 2 & SOP 3
We’re planning support for the PMDG 737 SOP series, including:
- SOP 1
- SOP 2
- SOP 3
The goal is to provide PMDG 737 pilots with a comprehensive FS2Crew experience that follows realistic airline-style operating procedures.
PMDG 777
The PMDG 777 is another major aircraft on the FS2Crew roadmap.
As with our other upcoming products, we’re looking at how Generation AI can make the virtual crew experience more interactive, natural, and immersive than traditional scripted crew systems.
Aerosoft CRJ
Regional airline operations are also coming to FS2Crew.
The Aerosoft CRJ is planned for the roadmap, giving CRJ pilots the opportunity to experience FS2Crew’s virtual crew environment in a regional jet.
Leonardo Maddog
We’re also planning support for the Leonardo Maddog.
This classic McDonnell Douglas airliner offers a very different operating experience from modern Airbus and Boeing aircraft, making it an exciting addition to the FS2Crew lineup.
Synaptic A220
We’re also planning support for the Synaptic A220.
This modern, next-generation regional airliner brings a unique flight deck and operating philosophy to the FS2Crew lineup, making it an exciting addition to our growing range of supported aircraft.
iFly 737 MAX
We’re also planning support for the iFly 737 MAX.
This highly detailed modern airliner brings the familiar Boeing flight deck experience to the next generation, making it an exciting addition to the FS2Crew lineup and our growing range of supported aircraft.
ATR — Possibly!
And there may be an ATR product somewhere down the road.
This one isn’t confirmed yet, but it’s something we’re considering.
So, don’t take this one as a promise just yet!
🤖 And Then There Are the AI Surprises…
Aircraft support is only part of the story.
The biggest changes happening at FS2Crew are taking place behind the scenes with Generation AI.
We’re continuing to develop new AI-powered capabilities that can make the virtual flight crew considerably more dynamic and useful.
Some of these projects are still under wraps.
We have more AI surprises coming that we’re not ready to announce yet.
And that’s intentional.
We want to reveal these features when they’re ready — rather than announce something today and make you wait months to experience it.
🚀 Where FS2Crew Is Going
FS2Crew has been developing virtual flight crew software for more than 20 years.
But Generation AI represents a fundamentally different direction for the company.
Instead of simply creating another collection of scripted First Officers, we’re building an expanding AI-powered flight crew ecosystem for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
That means more aircraft, deeper aircraft integration, smarter crew interaction, and new capabilities that weren’t practical with traditional FS2Crew technology.
And the roadmap doesn’t end with the aircraft listed above.
More Aircraft. More AI. More FS2Crew.
The aircraft listed here represent the current roadmap, not necessarily the complete list of everything we are working on.
Some projects will arrive sooner than others. Development schedules can change, aircraft updates can affect timelines, and some projects may ultimately be adjusted or cancelled.
But the direction is clear:
FS2Crew is going big.
From the Fenix A320 and iniBuilds A350 to the PMDG 737 and 777, Aerosoft CRJ, Leonardo Maddog, and potentially the ATR, we’re working toward making FS2Crew available across an even larger portion of the Microsoft Flight Simulator ecosystem.
And somewhere behind the curtain, we’re working on some things we haven’t announced yet.
The next generation of FS2Crew is only getting started.
